Bringing My World to Christ is the Covenant’s commitment to friendship evangelism. We believe that people most often encounter Jesus through first encountering friends who already follow Jesus. This emphasis contains the aspects of prayer (identifying and praying by name for specific individuals), care (unique acts of kindness for them), share (when the opportunity arises, helping people hear of Christ's love) and “hang in there” (being a good friend over time even in the seeming absence of spiritual interest).
The centerpiece is prayer. Members are asked to specifically list a group of individuals they will be praying for to come to a new heart-connected life in Christ. These names are gathered locally,and brought forward to the regional conference annual meeting. They are gathered again from those churches and presented at the Covenant Annual Meeting.
