Apply for a Loan

Step 1 - Get Organized  - Have a thorough understanding of the size, scope, and cost of the project.  A great resource for organizing to build is titled "The Church Building Committee Workbook" and can be ordered through Covenant Bookstore.

Step 2 - Consider Fundraising - Consider a fundraising campaign to raise as much money as possible internally so the amount of money borrowed will be minimized. See also; Churches Planting Churches

Step 3 - Get Contract Bids - Receiving contract bids prior to applying for the loan will ensure that your loan request is on target. (Architect's estimates are not acceptable.)

Step 4 - Contact NCP - Contact National Covenant Properties by calling 1.800.366.6273 or by email ncp@covchurch.org to receive a loan application packet.

Step 5 -  Complete Loan Application - Loan Applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors of National Covenant Properties at regularly scheduled Board Meetings.  The Board meets in February, April, June, August, October and December of each year. Contact us for exact dates.
