The Evangelical Covenant Church and its regional conferences seek to care and support for Covenant pastors in the following ways: Ministry Development Network Board of the Ordered Ministry Sustaining Pastoral Excellence The Covenant Ministerium District Ministerium Meetings
Each regional conference ministerium is divided in to local districts. Members of these local districts gather regularly throughout the year for fellowship, accountability and prayer. Regional Conference Retreats
Each conference hosts a retreat for its pastors (some include spouses) each fall. This gathering tends to be in a more relaxed setting and provides ample time for learning, rest and recreation. Each conference ministerial executive committee plans this event. Regional Conference Ministerium Annual Meetings
Each regional conference ministerium holds an annual meeting each spring. Members of the ministerium attend for continuing education, support, accountability and business. Those unable to attend must send a greeting by mail. Denominational Ministerium Annual Meeting
Prior to the Covenant Annual Meeting, the denominational ministerium holds its annual meeting. The executive committee, made up of each conference ministerium president and elected officers, plans the agenda and the continuing education component of this meeting. The Covenant Midwinter Conference
Every winter, in late January or early February, over 1500 ministers gather for inspiration, learning and relationship building. Top quality speakers are brought in for plenary sessions. A wide variety of workshops are offered throughout the three and a half day event. Stimulating worship takes place on two evenings. One night is reserved for "time off" to allow participants to make their own connections and build relationships. Pre-Midwinter events take place for specific groups such as, children, youth, and family workers. Midwinter continues to be a highlight of the year for the Covenant ministerium.
