Churches Planting Ministries

Churches Planting Ministries is an initiative of the Evangelical Covenant Church designed to encourage and facilitate local congregations engaged in community ministries with the poor and at-risk.

The vision of Churches Planting Ministries is to see:
- every congregation planting ministries of compassion, mercy and justice,
- every ministry seeking God's transformation for the poor and those at-risk, and
- every congregation finding renewal as it reaches out with the love of Christ

Covenant Conferences are prepared to equip local churches to do ministries of compassion, mercy and justice in the following ways:
- Give Ministry Development Grants. Matching financial grants are availble for churches with new or expanded ministries to the poor and those at-risk of being poor.
- Educate and Resource. Practical tools and curriculum are provided, so that churches in ministry stay connected & informed.
