This year's FORMATION FORUM explores Spiritual Vitality and is open to any Midwinter participant.  This four-day event is designed to help pastoral leaders move their congregations toward a deep and lasting daily walk with Christ, by exploring pathways toward a deeper spiritual life for every generation.

  • Explore next steps for discipleship in your church community
  • Network and dialogue with other Covenanters who are committed to life-long discipleship
  • Share church and ministry experiences
  • See the latest Christian Formation Discipleship Resources

Exploring Spiritual Vitality for all GenerationsSteve Burger

Defining Spiritual Vitality: What does spiritual vitality look like?  Does it look the same for all generations?  How is it reflected in our discipleship ministries?

Recharging Discipleship Ministry: What can we do to encourage persons in our churches to grow continually toward spiritually vital living for Christ?  What should we be pointing towards to help them in this journey?

 

Going Deeper/Discipleship and Spiritual Practices, Katie Isaza

How can shared experiences of spiritual practices foster authentic community and growth in Christ? Explore ways in which spiritual practices can be cultivated within the context of Christian community, providing avenues for discipleship and fellowship.

 

Walking the Talk/The Discipleship of Compassion and Justice (Spanish and English), Wilson Herrera

Explore justice within the context of our faith walk as individuals, families, and the church. What is justice? What does Jesus have to say about it? How is it manifested within our discipleship journey?
