Ministries of Christian Formation
Turning believers into disciples of Christ is our aim. Whether you call that Christian formation…Christian education…discipleship…or lifelong learning… you’ve come to the right place. Our ministries are organized by age-level, with additional areas of focus that cross all age levels. Here you’ll find a children’s service project, a network for childcare and preschool ministry leaders, helps for parents, seminars on topics such as Helping Children Worship…and many, many more practical resources and services.
| We believe that learning needs to be lifelong and that it is enhanced when it happens across the generations. We aim to help churches see the congregation as a family of lifelong learners: children, youth, and adults. We provide seminars for strengthening this dimension of congregational life, as well as practical tools for family ministry.
| Whether you are a professionally trained youth pastor or a volunteer youth leader, you’ll find encouragement and support here. From the Frontline Coaches network, to the Youth Speaker Team, to our discipling curriculum called The Journey, and many more resources and services – we’re here to serve you.
| To effectively engage in ministry by, with, and for adults of all ages, we offer practical resources and seminars and consultation. Here you’ll find small group resources, information on finding a spiritual director, video or DVD-based curriculum, teacher training options, and much more.
| We believe that Covenant pastors are each other's best resources. The Covenant Pastor's Network is designed to help pastors connect with other pastors in a purposeful way to have discussions around different ministry areas.
| Roughly one in five people lives with some sort of disability. Our aim is to network, educate, and resource churches and the Covenant as a whole so that persons with disabilities and their families are effectively served and fully included in the life and ministries of the Covenant and their local communities.
| The Latino population is the fastest growing demographic group in the United States. We provide Spanish consultation and resources, like the CRECER (GROW) Bible Study, for leaders (both pastoral and lay).
|
Prayer is a gracious gift from a God who desires personal relationship with us. It is our hope that these prayer ministries and resources will glorify God, draw us closer to God, and continually remind us that we live and breathe in the presence of God. | Discover the formational importance of Racial Righteousness and learn what the Covenant is doing in these areas.
|
The Journey: Discipleship/Confirmation experience is one that encourages participants to begin, or intentionally continue, a life-long journey as a disciple or learner of Jesus Christ. Curriculum resources, tips for getting started and making it great, as well as downloadable helps are all available. | “You can’t lead where you won’t go, and you can’t teach what you don’t know.” Within this area of ministry you’ll find motivation and practical help to grow as a Christian leader.
